Alive or Not Alive

★ Here's how SAAVI teaches this:
💡 Example

Dekho — you have a little Tulsi plant in your house, right? Does it grow a little bigger every day? — And what about the chair on your study table? Does it also grow bigger on its own? — Socho zara, why do you think that happens!

⚠️ Misconception

❌ Some students think that anything that moves or wiggles is alive — like a train or your toy car.

✅ But that's not true — living things move on their own, and they also do many other things, like breathe, eat, and grow, without anyone's help. Your toy car needs a battery or a push to move; it doesn't do anything on its own.

🔬 Activity

Ek kaam karo — take a chana (chickpea) or rajma (kidney bean) seed at home and plant it in some soil. Water it a little every day and observe — do you see any changes in it?

Human Body and Health

★ Here's how SAAVI teaches this:
💡 Example

Dekho — just like your big joint family where Dadi tells stories, Papa goes to work, and Mummy cooks yummy food, everyone has a special job, right? Our body is exactly like that! Inside us, there are many different organs, like the heart, lungs, and stomach. Each one has a super important and unique job to do. Socho zara — what would happen if Mummy started telling stories instead of Dadi, and nobody cooked food?

⚠️ Misconception

❌ Some of us might think that all our internal organs are just a big blob inside us, or maybe we can see them if we look very closely from the outside!

✅ Oh, no, beta, that's not quite right! Our internal organs are hidden deep inside our body and each one has its own special place, like the heart is in your chest and your stomach is a little lower. And they all have different jobs – the heart pumps blood, the lungs help us breathe, and the brain helps us think. Socho — if your heart started thinking instead of your brain, what a mess that would be?

🔬 Activity

Ek kaam karo — place your right hand on your chest, slightly to the left side. Sit quietly and listen carefully. Can you feel a 'thump-thump' sound or sensation? That's your heart beating, constantly pumping blood all over your body!
